It’s amazing to notice that when people are thirsty, they long for a sweet sparkling beverage. They wrongly think they are hydrating themselves when drinking soft drinks. Even athletes when thirsty reach for their sports drinks like Gatorade or Powerade instead of alkaline ionized water. Others consume high sugar energy drinks full of caffeine.
Although Gatorade can be okay as a temporary sports drink, because it has some minerals that replete the athlete’s body. The problem, however, is its sugar content, and it’s not particularly good for people who might even get hypoglycemic, or might induce insulin secretion, and that insulin secretion will produce more hunger and then they overeat.
But there’s really no adequate substitute for water, and especially alkaline ionized water — not a thing. No drink — no coffee, no tea, no alcoholic beverage. Not even fruit juices, especially those from concentrate can hydrate your body like water.
Alkaline ionized water has no substitute because of its specific functions in your body. There are two kinds of waters in the body: Occupied and Engaged water. These are waters the body has already utilized, they are no good for “new function” in the body. The body needs new water, or free water that’s alkaline with minerals to perform new functions. Now, when you give your body sugar containing beverages or caffeine containing beverages, both sugar and caffeine have their own chemical agenda in the body. They defeat the purpose of the need for water.
There’s no substitute for alkaline ionized water. Soft drinks, sodas, caffeine containing coffee or tea are no comparison with water. Alcoholic beverages can’t substitute water either, because alcohol actually stops the emergency water supply systems to the important cells, such as the brain cells. In the reverse osmosis process of your system, your body filters and injects water into the cells. It has to raise the blood pressure for this function in order to overcome the osmotic pull of water out of the cells, and re-inject water into the cells. That’s why we develop high-blood pressure in dehydration. This process of reverse osmosis in the body is stopped by alcohol. It stops the filter system in your body.
There’s no replacement for it because no beverage hydrates other than alkaline ionized water. Dehydration is the culprit in many chronic diseases. We can avoid diseases simply by drinking alkaline ionized water.
Dr. F. Batmanghelidj wrote a book called “Water Cures and Drugs Kill.” In it he explains why dehydration is the actual cause of pain and disease, and how the pharmaceutical industry has camouflaged this vital information or covered it up and instead of letting people drink water, it advertises the use of their products, which actually do kill.
In an interview with Natural News Dr. Batmanghelidj said that, “Figures have shown that prescription medications, when used according to the instruction of doctors, nonetheless kill over 106,000 people, and make 2 million people sicker than before taking the medication. And then there is another group who die from faulty prescriptions, incorrect prescriptions. So between them, about 250,000 people die from drug-related problems, medication-related problems. This makes the drugs the use of drugs the number three killer processes in the country — protected and licensed. After heart disease, which kills about seven or eight hundred thousand, cancer which kills about 500,000, drugs kills 250,000 people.”
Most of the medications only bring relieve, not healing. They are marketed to relieve symptoms, signs and complications of dehydration in the human body. According to Batmanghelidj, the human body manifests dehydration by a series of symptoms and signs, like fatigue, stress, feeling irritable, depression, etc. these are all signs of dehydration. as the brain has very little energy from hydroelectricity to cope with the information or take action, perceptive signs of dehydration occur. The body’s has its drought results kick in, which are allergies, hypertension, diabetes, and also immune diseases.
Dr. F. Batmanghelidj goes into detail in this resource about the link between diseases and dehydration.
We must rediscover water and its health properties. You are not just what you eat; you are also what you drink. Water is the basis of all life and that includes your body. Your muscles that move your body are 75 percent water; your blood that transport nutrients is 82 percent water; your lungs that provide your oxygen are 90% water; your brain that is the control center of your body is 76 percent water; even your bones are 25 percent water.
Our health is truly dependent on the quality and quantity of the water we drink. But not all waters are created equal. City tap water contain chemicals and bottled waters are not trustworthy to drink, consume them by blind faith.
Then there’s alkaline ionized water which some call Kangen. It is the healthiest water you can make at home, with our water ionizers, right on your kitchen counter top.
